2 award-winning veteran horticulturists.

One Size Doesn't Fit All

What style of growing works for you?

Agree or disagree?

When writing our book No Guff Vegetable Gardening, we agreed to disagree.

We were friends. So we were polite about our disagreements.

Our different styles showed up in our book as "he says" and "she says."

There's more than one way to garden. Some advice won't suit you.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of our book (and of disagreeing!) we have a live 6-week virtual garden camp to help you pick gardening ideas and techniques that suit YOUR situation.

  • How do the virtual gatherings work?

Each gathering has a core topic. Donna and Steven share their experiences and top tips. Then, there is group discussion and questions.

  • How do I access the gatherings?

Gatherings take place on Zoom. Once you enroll in the camp, you access the Zoom classes through the online camp platform.

  • What time are the camp gatherings?

    ET 7:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
    CT 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
    PT 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

  • I already garden. Is this for me?

We go through and then beyond veggie gardening basics, with ideas and techniques that help you take your gardening to the next level.

  • How is Home Harvest Garden Camp different?

The purpose of camp is to help you zero in on ideas and techniques that fit your needs. Your counsellors are two award-winning horticultural communicators who garden in very different circumstances.

  • What if this isn't for me?

If you decide camp isn't for you after you attend the first gathering, we'll give you your money back. No questions asked.
