I'm a home vegetable gardening expert, horticulturist, and former horticulture instructor with Durham and George Brown Colleges in Canada. I was recognized by Garden Making Magazine as one of the "green gang" making a difference in horticulture. My passion is helping people grow food in home gardens. My own Toronto yard includes a driveway container garden, rooftop container garden, wicking beds (that allow me to grow my tomatoes right under a black walnut tree!), and cold frames.
